If you’re tired of reading bios from bands that just aren't on MTV yet boast of success after success, then you're likely to love this one.

Just the facts, none of the exaggerated hype. Paindivision is not into bragging: listen to the tracks and the music will speak for itself.

Formed in late 2005, Paindivision features some of metal’s most respected musicians. Featuring ex-members of Dragonforce, Marshall Law and Dungeon, the band has carved a name as one of the most explosive live bands around.

The latest release for the band "One Path" promised to deliver a brutal onslaught of heavy metal and from critical reviews receiving 9/10 and 8/10, the metal press have hailed it as one of the standout releases of 2008.

"One Path" displays a focused effort by the group and showcases the strong song writing talent from all members. While including the bands classic metal influences, the unique combination of personal style has again combined to craft the bands unique sound. The high speed guitar and a powerful production will ensure that "One Path" is strong progression for a band with a powerful future.

Dan"Originally formed by guitarist Stu Marshall (Ex-Dungeon) in 2005, after a tour through Europe supporting metal giants Megadeth, Paindivision quickly developed a unique sound that has been received well by the worldwide metal press. Lead Singer / Bass player Dan Quinlan also acts as the bands producer and after working with acts such as Deicide and Suffocation on their tours, has brought his experience into the production of the bands latest album. Guitarist Ben Thomas was originally one of Stu’s guitar students and was an obvious choice when the band started looking for the new dual shred attack. Rounding out the band is explosive death metal drummer 'Frog' (The Amenta) brings a new aggression and power to the band."

The last two years have been non stop with the band signing to Riot Entertainment and subsequently releasing their much praised debut cd in August 07, smashing through a headlining tour of Japan in 2007 and supporting metal legends "Helloween" in 08.

The "Pain across Japan tour" included nine blistering shows in fourteen days, covering all major cities in Japan. The shows garnered the band received rave reviews from the Japanese press. The success of the tour resulted in the band being offered a deal by soundholic records and "One Path" is now scheduled for release in Japan for Feb 09.

The plan for 09 is further international touring to Japan, Europe and the USA as well as local and regional touring.

The album "One Path" is available nationally via RIOT Entertainment and at all good metal stores including JB Hi-Fi and Sanity or direct from the band online.
